ACADEMICS
Spurgeon School offers two different educational modalities
Online blended program (OBP) which is a mix of online classes supplemented by books and/or modules.
Modular Learning which utilizes Self-Learning Modules (SLM) based on the most essential learning competencies (MELCS) provided by DepEd.
Mathematics
SSFI teaches world-class level Math complemented by Scholastic Pr1me Mathematicswhich is based on a composite of learning progressions identified as the best practices of the top-performing nations: Singapore, Republic of Korea, and Hong Kong.
Science
With or without access to the laboratory, SSFI ensures quality Science learning that is guided by the DepEd K-12 curriculum.
Our Junior High School department also offers advanced Science subjects which will surely equip students with the knowledge they need for Senior High School.
Language Arts
Assisted by the Scholastic Pr1me English Program, we strive to teach English according to five macro skills: Speaking, Listening, Viewing, Reading, and Writing. Scholastic's LitPro also brings the library to your child. With just a click, books and other materials are readily available on any of your devices.
Social Studies
The Social Studies course follows the DepEd's K-12 curriculum which empowers students with national and international knowledge for the next stage of their educational career.
Filipino Language
The Filipino language studies in SSFI is offered to both local and foreign students. Students are divided into Basic and Regular Filipino classes to better address their language fluency.
